Connect, Co-Design and Pitch for Funding
The Leeds Institute for Societal Futures is running a series of in-person workshops bringing together VCSE organisations, communities, academics and partners to develop new projects and pitch for seed funding.
This programme offers a structured opportunity to build partnerships, co-design ideas and access funding to tackle key societal challenges.

16 June – Project development session

14 May – Partnership building session
18 June – Project development session
All cohorts
30 June or 1 July – Pitch to funding panel
Participants must attend both workshop dates within their chosen cohort.
What to expect
The programme is designed to support collaboration and innovation across sectors.
Participants will:
- Build partnerships with academics, community organisations and professionals
- Explore shared challenges and opportunities
- Develop project ideas through guided co-design sessions
- Receive support to shape and present a funding pitch
