Jo Baker, Arfan, Hussain, Kim Shutler. Power of the Communities

Following our recent update on the transition of the Power of Communities programme to VCSE leadership across West Yorkshire, further information has now been shared about what this means in practice.

From April 2026, the programme will be led by VCSE infrastructure organisations across the region, and as part of this change, the NHS West Yorkshire ICB will no longer produce a central Power of Communities newsletter.

What this means

The shift to VCSE leadership marks an important change in how updates, information and opportunities will be shared going forward.

Rather than a single regional newsletter, communication will now come through a mix of regional and place-based channels.
