The Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub are running workshops focused on Compassion Fatigue and Managing Stress. Details on each are below:
Compassion Fatigue Workshops
The ‘Compassion Fatigue’ group is a workshop for all staff, volunteers and students that work within health and social care within the West Yorkshire region (NHS and VCSE). It uses principles of Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) to provide you with tools to manage compassion fatigue. The workshop is led by Assistant Psychologists from the Hub and will consist of one 1.5 hour long session.
Join one of the upcoming sessions on:
- Wednesday 21 May, 1.30 pm – 3 pm
- Wednesday 18 June, 10 am – 11.30 am
When completing the referral form, please mention that you are interested in the group. This will run remotely over Microsoft Teams.
Support With Managing Stress Workshops
The ‘Managing Stress’ group is for all staff, volunteers and students that work within health and social care in the West Yorkshire region (NHS and VCSE). It uses principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to provide you with tools to manage stress related to and caused by work. The workshop is led by Assistant Psychologists from the Hub.
The group will consist of two 1.5 hour long sessions which will take place two weeks apart. You will need to be able to attend both sessions to join the group:
May dates
- Session 1: Friday 2 May, 11 am – 1 pm
- Session 2: Friday 16 May, 11 am – 1 pm
July dates
- Session 1: Tuesday 1 July, 1 pm – 3 pm
- Session 2: Tuesday 15 July, 1 pm – 3 pm
