Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board is inviting organisations and communities across the city to share their experiences of safeguarding adults.

Feedback from the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector will help shape future safeguarding priorities, improve how support is delivered, and ensure services reflect the realities facing people in Leeds.

Why this matters for the VCSE sector

VCSE organisations are often the first point of contact for people experiencing risk, harm or abuse. Your insight plays a key role in helping safeguarding systems work effectively.

This survey is an opportunity to:

• highlight what is working well
• identify gaps or challenges in safeguarding practice
• influence future priorities and projects across Leeds

Take part

Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board has published three short questionnaires, depending on your role.

All responses will help shape future plans and projects.
Closing date: Wednesday 15 April 2026

Access the questionnaires here:
https://www.leedssab.org.uk/about-the-board/get-involved/our-consultations

The questionnaires include:

Public questionnaire – for people living in Leeds, focusing on awareness of abuse and how to get help

Working with adults questionnaire – for VCSE organisations, care providers, education and commissioned services

Statutory services questionnaire – for colleagues in local authority, NHS, police, fire and other statutory services

VCSE organisations are encouraged to complete the relevant survey and share the public questionnaire with the communities they support.

Your input is important

Insights gathered will directly inform the work of Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board, helping to strengthen safeguarding practice across the city.

For VCSE organisations, this is a chance to ensure that frontline experiences and community voices are reflected in how safeguarding is developed and delivered.
