The COVID-19 spring booster programme is now running, alongside the rollout of the RSV vaccine. Organisations across Leeds are being asked to help share this information with eligible groups.
What Is It?
The spring vaccination programme offers additional protection against COVID-19 for those most at risk.
The programme runs from 13 April to 30 June 2026.
Those eligible include:
- Adults aged 75 and over
- Residents in care homes for older adults
- People aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed
The RSV vaccine is also now available for:
- Adults aged 75 and over
- Older adult care home residents
RSV is a common cause of respiratory infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia.

Vaccination helps reduce the risk of serious illness and hospitalisation, and helps protect health and care services during periods of higher demand.
