Battle Scars is hosting a free, in-person self-harm seminar at its base in South Leeds, bringing together people who want to better understand self-harm and how to support those affected.

Following three years of highly successful online webinars, this will be Battle Scars’ first ever face-to-face seminar, offering a more interactive and reflective space for learning and discussion

Who is this seminar for?

This session is open to anyone who:

  • Supports someone who self-harms (personally or professionally)

  • Is a parent, carer or foster carer

  • Works in health, education, social care or the VCSE sector

  • Has a research or professional interest in self-harm

  • Wants to learn more about Battle Scars and its work

What to expect

  • An interactive workshop/seminar focused on self-harm

  • Practical insight and understanding from leading experts with lived experience

  • A Q&A session to explore questions in a safe and supportive environment

  • The seminar will be delivered by Battle Scars’ Founder and CEO

Refreshments will be provided.

  • Support resources available locally and nationally
