West Yorkshire launches trauma-informed training pilot.
As part of our goal to become a trauma-informed and responsive system by 2030, our West Yorkshire Adversity, Trauma and Resilience Programme is launching a train the trainer pilot.
This initiative aims to equip professionals with the skills to deliver a 3.5 hour introductory training on adversity, trauma and resilience within their own organisations.
Who can take part
Colleagues from the education, health and social care, criminal justice and policing, and VCSE sectors who have experience in teaching, training or facilitation, are welcome to take part. You don’t need any formal qualifications.
Successful applicants will take part in two face-to-face training days, gaining knowledge aligned with the Transforming Psychological Trauma Knowledge and Skills Framework. See the training and development brochure (pdf) for more information.
