Free Basic Life Support (BLS) training is being offered to third sector organisations in Leeds as part of the NHS Health Check Programme and Leeds GP Confederation’s work to improve community health outcomes.

The training will support organisations to better respond to emergencies, including recognising anaphylaxis and delivering immediate life support.

Training dates

Wednesday 15 April – 4 spaces available
Friday 17 April – 4 spaces available
Wednesday 27 May – 2 spaces available

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

What the training covers

The session will provide:

  • Understanding of how to recognise anaphylaxis
  • Practical knowledge of immediate Basic Life Support response
  • Skills to support safer community-based environments
