Leeds Older People’s Forum and the Community Rehabilitation Research Network are collaborating to develop a toolkit that will help third-sector organisations support individuals receiving community rehabilitation in participating in research activities.

Our aim is to determine the level of research activity among third-sector organisations. Please help us by completing this survey, which should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Community rehabilitation (delivered outside of acute hospital settings) is vital for effective and efficient health and social care service provision and enabling people to live well. The ageing population and increase in long-term conditions mean that community services face increasing demand, despite limited funding, low staff numbers and inequities of access.

Inclusive community-based research is required to understand how to optimise health and social care in UK communities. However, research capability and capacity in UK community settings are minimal.
