What’s Happening?

Forum Central is supporting an important meeting for people with learning disabilities and/or autistic people in Leeds to discuss using digital technology and to help shape future research.

Many people with learning disabilities and autistic people experience ‘digital exclusion’, which can deepen existing inequalities. This meeting is a chance to share your experiences – what works, what’s difficult, and what research should be prioritised to improve digital inclusion.

You’ll be able to talk with Kris Southby from Leeds Beckett University, along with Dominique from Forum Central and Imogen from Advonet.

Who is this for?

This meeting is specifically for people with learning disabilities and/or autistic people in Leeds.

What to Expect

  • Discussions about your experiences with digital technology.
  • Lunch will be provided.
  • Receive a £10 shopping voucher as a thank you for your participation.
  • Parts of the meeting will be recorded to capture important information (small group conversations won’t be recorded). Your personal details will be kept private.
