As part of the annual Travel to Work Survey, people who commute into Leeds are being invited to share their travel habits and experiences.

Whether you walk, drive, cycle or use public transport, your input helps build a clearer picture of how people move around the city.

Why it matters

The survey results provide valuable insight into commuter journeys and travel trends. Findings are used to help inform transport planning and future strategy in Leeds.

Understanding how people travel — and what works well or needs improving supports better decision-making across the city.

What’s involved

  • The survey takes no more than 5 minutes to complete

  • It is open to individuals who travel to workplaces in Leeds

  • The deadline to respond is 3 April 2026

Everyone who takes part will receive:

  • 100 bonus BetterPoints on West Yorkshire’s new travel rewards app

  • Entry into a draw to win one of four 25,000-point (£25) bundles on the BetterPoints app

Data and privacy

The survey is voluntary. Information provided will be used by Leeds City Council, as data controller, and shared with West Yorkshire Combined Authority and employers to improve understanding of travel behaviour.
