People across Leeds are being invited to take part in research exploring how memory, thinking and wellbeing change as we age.

This is an opportunity to get involved in research that helps shape the understanding of ageing, with studies looking at areas such as memory, movement, and everyday cognitive function.

Current opportunity

Researchers are currently looking for people to take part in a study exploring visual memory.

Taking part involves:

  • completing some online questions
  • attending a single in-person session in Leeds
  • simple tasks measuring memory and brain activity

Sessions last around 60–90 minutes, and a £15 shopping voucher is offered as a thank you.

Why it matters

Taking part in research like this helps build a better understanding of how people experience ageing — and can shape future support, services and interventions.

If you’re interested, or support people who might be, signing up to the panel is a simple way to stay connected to opportunities.
