Leeds Mind is delivering a series of free workshops to support frontline staff working in community settings to better understand self-harm.

The workshops are shaped by lived experience and informed by feedback from people who self-harm or have self-harmed, alongside insights from families, friends and frontline workers. This helps ensure the training is grounded, practical and relevant.

Sessions focus on developing a deeper understanding of self-harm, challenging common myths and exploring how to offer compassionate, effective support. The programme also places strong emphasis on helping staff look after their own wellbeing while supporting others.

The workshops are open to frontline staff working in the community.
