‘We work to improve child and family mental health, building hope and aspiration for the future’

Impact North is a Leeds-based team of psychotherapists who offer a range of therapeutic support services to over 100 schools. The organisation is very grateful to be able to do the work that it does with children, their families and the school staff who teach them. The team has over 35 years of CAMHS experience and 40 plus years of experience in adult mental health and supporting our local communities.

The organisation’s work is centred around three core values:

Commitment
The organisation is committed to helping children and families get the right mental health care, when and where they need it most. It works closely with professional partners to think together about how to achieve the best outcomes for the children it supports. It is fully committed to facing the challenges in its work and always strives to provide the best service possible.

Collaboration
Impact North believes that real success comes from collaboration.  It knows that building effective relationships with others (such as professionals, families and commissioners) is key to ensuring positive outcomes for the people it works with. It is by working in partnership with each other, sharing expertise and understanding that we can, together, make a difference to young lives and build brighter futures.

Quality
The organisation believes that children, young people and families deserve the best quality care. Staff have had extensive, specialist training in working therapeutically with children, young people and parents and have the skills to provide the best environment in which to bring about change. As a team, they work tirelessly to continually improve the service, using the voices of their clients to lead the way.
