The Leeds Health and Care Academy is hosting the West Yorkshire Compassionate Cultures Conference 2026, bringing together colleagues from across the health and care system, including the VCSE sector.
This one-day conference offers space to step away from day-to-day pressures and reflect on what sustains people, teams and services. At a time when many organisations are stretched, the focus is on how compassionate ways of working can strengthen wellbeing, relationships and outcomes across West Yorkshire.
Throughout the day, speakers will share practical examples of what is already working across the region. You will hear real stories, explore achievable approaches, and consider how compassionate and inclusive cultures support engagement, resilience and psychological safety, even in pressured environments.
The conference is an opportunity to connect across organisational boundaries, learn from partners, and feel part of a shared commitment to healthier workplace cultures across the system.
