Leeds City Council would like to know your views to help inform the creation of a 10 year Working Age Adults (WAA) Accommodation Strategy for Leeds.

The Strategy will include accommodation with support provision for working age adults (18-64 years old) with a long-term disability.

CHANGE and Asking You! are are working with Leeds City Council to look at housing in Leeds for people who have a long-term condition. For example:

  • Learning disability
  • Autism
  • Mental health
  • Physical impairment
  • Sensory impairment

At the moment in Leeds, there’s no strategy. So developers can build what they want, where they want. This consultation is to create a strategy for Leeds, using the feedback from people with lived experience. So housing will be better for people in Leeds in the future.
