The NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board is running a monthly Integrated Neighbourhood Health (INH) webinar series, bringing together partners from across West Yorkshire to share learning, practice and challenges as neighbourhood health models continue to develop.
The fifth session in the series focuses on Mental Health and Integrated Neighbourhood Health, exploring how mental health approaches and INH models connect, and where there are real opportunities for integration across services.
About this session
This webinar will be led by Dr Dorothy Frizelle, Charlotte Whale and Jo Butterfield.
The session aims to support partners to better understand the relationship between mental health and INH, and how joined-up approaches can be developed in practice. It will cover:
-
what mental health is, and how this differs from mental health service delivery
-
examples of good practice where mental health and INH are working together
-
opportunities for integration across neighbourhood-based services
-
open discussion to help participants identify what might work in their own local areas
The session is designed to be practical and reflective, with space for questions and shared learning.
Who should attend
This webinar is relevant to anyone working across West Yorkshire involved in neighbourhood-based services, including:
-
NHS managers and clinicians
-
local authority leaders and officers
-
primary care professionals
-
VCSE organisations and partners
Whether you are directly delivering Integrated Neighbourhood Health or want to understand how your work fits into this system-wide shift, the session offers a supportive space to reflect, learn and make connections.
About the webinar series
Each webinar in the series focuses on a different topic that is important to successfully developing and delivering Integrated Neighbourhood Health. Together, the sessions support the sharing of ideas, good practice and learning, helping to build a shared learning environment across West Yorkshire.
Integrated Neighbourhood Health is central to delivering the Government’s 10-Year Health Plan for England, Fit for the Future, which sets out a shift from hospital to community, from treatment to prevention, and from analogue to digital. Achieving this transformation depends on learning from one another: sharing what works, what doesn’t, and why.
The series is designed to:
-
bring together NHS, local authority, community and VCSE partners from across West Yorkshire
-
create space for honest reflection and discussion, including practical challenges
-
build system-wide capability by exploring key enablers of INH delivery
-
support transferable learning that can be applied in different neighbourhood contexts
-
connect colleagues facing similar challenges so learning happens collectively
