The Alzheimer’s Society are hosting an immersive networking event that brings all the key stakeholders into their challenge space of innovation, dementia and hospitalisation and showcases the best of dementia innovation.

“We want to engage our biggest stakeholders, connect people from all our workstreams and inspire people to develop the best solutions for people living with dementia.”

From 6 pm you’ll be welcomed with drinks and nibbles before hearing from Simon Lord, their Head of Innovation, about Alzheimer’s Society’s vision for dementia innovation and how they will provide a product or solution for everyone at every stage of dementia.

  • The Dementia Innovation Showcase will let you explore a range of products in their product portfolio and hear about how partners got to where they are now and the impact these products are having on people’s lives.
  • You’ll get to collaborate with participants in the Accelerator, Launchpad and Dementia Innovator Programmes and be amongst the first to hear about their ideas and solutions in the world of dementia innovation.
  • You’ll get the chance to network with the Innovation Collective, thought leaders, academics, researchers, influential figures and clinicians and see why a range of expertise is so valuable in developing meaningful solutions for people living with dementia.
  • You can engage in an immersive experience, highlighting the challenges faced by people living with dementia during their hospital journeys. Bringing to life the scale and reality of hospitalisation challenges, giving you a deeper, empathetic understanding of the issues.
  • You’ll see the latest data from ‘Make Dementia a Priority’ brought to life and help you understand how research and data can be translated to develop the right solutions that reduce the challenges of hospitalisation for people with dementia.
  • You’ll leave the event energised, with some great connections and with a clear understanding of how you can contribute to dementia innovation now and in the future.
