Purpose of session – To create a space for leaders to consider where they may want to use Personalised Care approaches to support Mental Health & Learning Disabilities and Autism services. To understand the legal rights to have a Personal Health budget in S117 and to reflect upon the critical conditions for success, to learn from each other & consider how they may look to implement & expand models to support Mental Health & Learning Disabilities and Autism services.
Aim of the session:
- Exploring what organisations have implemented across the NEY region using Personalised Care approaches to support Mental Health & Learning Disabilities and Autism services, including both legal right to have areas ( S117) and beyond.
- Enabling collective discussion to help establish peer networking and learning across the region, including sharing good practice from successful programmes.
- Re-energising, refocusing and rethinking approaches to personalised care, creating an impetus for sustainable action across each system and place.
- Inspiring and encouraging providers, places and systems to reflect on how they lead their improvement journeys.
