The West Yorkshire Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub will close at the end of March 2026.

To help manage the closure, the final date for referrals for 1:1 therapy will be Thursday 31 October 2025. This includes referrals for health and care staff, and volunteers across the VCSE sector.

If your organisation is currently signposting people to the Hub, please make sure this information is removed or updated by the end of October.

Support for VCSE staff and volunteers

The Hub has been a vital source of support for people working in health and care across West Yorkshire — including those in the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector.

All Hub services are available to anyone working or volunteering in health and care, offering free, confidential mental health and wellbeing support. This includes:

  • Self-referral for psychological assessment and therapy

  • Advice and signposting to self-help resources

  • Group and critical incident support for teams

  • Resources around stress, menopause, money management, and more

If you work in a health or care environment and are struggling with your mental or emotional wellbeing, you can still access support up to the referral deadline.

Power of Communities

The Hub’s work connects closely with the Power of Communities Programme, which supports collaboration between the NHS and the VCSE sector across West Yorkshire. This programme helps link people to local community services — from advice on money and housing, to food banks, baby banks, warm spaces and social connection.

By working together, we continue to build a culture where staff wellbeing is a shared priority, across health, care, and community organisations.
