Leeds City Council is running Step Into Volunteering, a short course for people who are considering volunteering or working in the volunteer sector.
The course is designed to help participants understand how volunteering works in practice, build confidence and gain practical knowledge that can support next steps. It also leads to a recognised qualification, making it a useful entry point for people looking to develop skills or explore new opportunities.
The programme covers topics including the role of volunteers, wellbeing, confidentiality and practical working skills, offering a supportive introduction to the sector.
