IVAR is hosting a series of Leading in Uncertainty peer support sessions for UK-based charity leaders, offering a confidential and supportive space to pause, reflect and connect with others facing similar challenges.

The sessions are designed for leaders navigating uncertainty across funding, workforce wellbeing, service delivery and organisational sustainability. Each 90-minute online session brings together a small group of up to 15 participants and is guided by experienced facilitators who help create an open, trusted environment for honest conversation.

Rather than formal training, the sessions focus on peer learning, shared experience and collective problem-solving, giving leaders time to explore the financial, emotional and operational pressures affecting their organisations, and to learn from how others are responding.

Upcoming sessions include:

  • Tuesday 27 January, 10:00–11:30am

  • Wednesday 4 February, 10:00–11:30am

IVAR is also running themed sessions as part of the programme, including:

  • AI and leadership in uncertain times – 15 and 20 January

  • Evaluation and learning in uncertainty – 10 February

These sessions may be particularly helpful for charity leaders who are feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or managing significant change, and who would value space to think alongside peers away from day-to-day pressures.

Places are limited and sessions fill quickly.
