Scope is a disability equality charity working across England and Wales to create a fairer society for disabled people and their families. Their work is focused on three key goals: ending the disability price tag, closing the disability employment gap, and becoming better known for the support they offer.
In Leeds, Scope runs a Community Hub where they work alongside disabled people, community groups and local organisations. The Hub provides a space for activities, connection and support, and plays an important role in how Scope engages with communities locally.
They are now looking for feedback to help shape how the Hub is used going forward. This includes understanding what is most valuable to people, what could be improved, and how the space can better support disabled people and the wider community in Leeds.
If your organisation works with disabled people, or you have insight into local needs and community activity, this is a useful opportunity to help influence how this space develops.
