June marks Pride Month, a time to celebrate LGBTQ+ communities, recognise progress made towards equality, and reflect on the work that still needs to be done to create inclusive communities for everyone.
Across Leeds, Pride Month provides opportunities to connect, learn, celebrate and show support. It also marks the build-up to a landmark year for Leeds Pride, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026.
Whether you’re an individual, community group or organisation, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Pride Month provides an opportunity to celebrate, learn and connect throughout June, while also building towards Leeds Pride’s 20th anniversary celebrations and other events taking place across the city in July.
Leeds Pride 2026
Leeds Pride returns on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July for its biggest celebration yet, with a new two-day programme marking 20 years of Pride in Leeds.
The weekend includes live entertainment, community activities, family-friendly spaces and the iconic Leeds Pride Parade, which takes place on Sunday 19 July through Leeds city centre.
Last year’s event attracted more than 70,000 people, making it one of the largest Pride celebrations in the North of England.
