The Leeds Arts Health and Wellbeing Network (LAHWN) is looking for a Leeds-based creative organisation or freelance producer to help shape the next phase of creative health across the city.
With funding from Leeds City Council’s Culture Programmes team, LAHWN is seeking a partner to design and deliver an engaging programme of events that will bring together people working across arts, culture, health and the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector.
Up to £10,000 is available to develop a programme that connects people, encourages collaboration and raises the profile of creative health in Leeds.
About LAHWN
The Leeds Arts Health and Wellbeing Network (LAHWN) brings together artists, creative practitioners, health professionals, community organisations and researchers who share a common goal: improving health and wellbeing through creativity.
The network provides opportunities to share learning, build partnerships and champion the role that arts and culture can play in improving people’s health, reducing inequalities and strengthening communities.
Creative health is becoming an increasingly important part of the wider health and care landscape in Leeds, supporting prevention, wellbeing and community-led approaches that align closely with the city’s ambitions for neighbourhood health and integrated working.
The opportunity
LAHWN is looking for an organisation or freelance producer with the skills and experience to create and deliver a programme of events that will:
- Engage creative health champions from across Leeds.
- Build stronger connections between organisations and individuals.
- Encourage collaboration across sectors.
- Increase the visibility and impact of creative health across the city.
The successful applicant will work with LAHWN to strengthen the network and help shape its future direction.
