Leeds Prevent is running a new and updated Prevent awareness training session for colleagues working across statutory services, the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector, and faith organisations.
The free online session is designed for frontline staff working in Leeds and the surrounding areas, helping participants develop their understanding of Prevent and how it supports safeguarding within local communities.
About the training
The updated awareness session will provide an introduction to Prevent and its role in safeguarding people who may be vulnerable to being drawn into extremism.
The training is suitable for colleagues working across a range of sectors, particularly those in frontline roles who may encounter safeguarding concerns as part of their work.
