Applications are now open for the Health Innovation Network Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic (CVDRM) Fellowship, a new regional development programme designed to build leadership capability and support system-level improvement across Yorkshire and Humber.

This flagship Fellowship has been co-designed with stakeholders from across the NEY region, ensuring it reflects local priorities and the needs of places.

The programme is endorsed by the NHS North East and Yorkshire Regional Team and all four Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) in the region.

About the CVDRM Fellowship

The CVDRM Fellowship aims to strengthen leadership and improvement capability across cardiovascular, renal and metabolic pathways. It is designed for people working across health, care, and community settings who are interested in driving meaningful change at place and system level.

The programme focuses on:

  • Building leadership and improvement skills

  • Supporting system-wide collaboration

  • Developing projects aligned to local and regional priorities

  • Strengthening capability across neighbourhoods, PCNs and wider networks

The Fellowship is relevant to colleagues working across:

  • Primary Care Networks (PCNs)

  • Neighbourhood and place-based teams

  • Community pharmacy networks

  • Clinical and professional networks

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to take part in informal discussions as part of the selection process. These will include representation from ICB teams, with dates and times to be confirmed.
