The Community Champions project has been extended until the end of March 2022, with the aim of continuing to recruit volunteers to share accurate health messages around Covid-19 and the vaccine with our communities.
There are 3 ways to get involved:
Community Champions: Support Covid-19 and wider key health messages through engagement / communication with their family, friends and neighbours in person or via social media. Sign up here.
Community Engagement Champions: These volunteers will engage in more formal community engagement activities and support a range of partners including LCC and NHS in response to Covid-19 outbreaks, vaccinations and health messaging in the community. They will also design and deliver their own community engagement activities or events to share key health messages with support provided by delivery providers. Sign up here
Community Champions Organisations: Organisations including Third Sector, local businesses, educational establishments, grass root groups, constituted groups and residents’ associations etc. will support Covid-19 messages and sign up staff and volunteers to become Covid-19 Community Champions to support sharing health messages around Covid-19 including vaccinations / boosters amongst staff, service users and communities: Sign up here
