The Lifelong Learning Centre and Digital Education at the University of Leeds are launching a new Essential Skills for Volunteers course later this month.
This free, online resource has been co-created with Voluntary Action Leeds, voluntary and community organisations, and volunteers. It offers an accessible introduction to key skills for volunteering and aims to encourage adults to take up further learning.
To mark the launch, an online event will take place on Wednesday 11 February, 1–2pm, offering a chance to see the course in action and explore how it could support volunteering in local communities.
The event is open to anyone with an interest in volunteering or adult education. Please share widely with your networks. Places can be booked via the registration form to receive the session link.
