Leeds Prevent is delivering a free, updated Prevent awareness training session for colleagues across statutory services, the Third Sector and faith organisations.
What Is It?
This is a virtual training session providing an overview of the Prevent duty and how to identify and respond to risks linked to radicalisation.
The session will cover:
- Aims of Prevent and the Prevent Duty
- Understanding ideologies
- Local risk and threat
- Signs and behaviours to be aware of
- Case studies and emerging concerns
- What support is available in Leeds
The training has been updated and includes current local context and real-life examples.
