Leeds Health and Care One Workforce is a collaboration of Leeds health, care, third sector and university partners aiming to create a joined up approach for the health and care workforce in the city.
As part of this joined up approach, the team aims to engage with, recruit and develop a diverse workforce from Leeds communities, improving access to long-term career opportunities, work experience, volunteering, education and training.
Following a successful recruitment campaign earlier this year which saw local people from Armley stepping into careers in healthcare at the newly built Red Kite View, The Health and Care Careers programme is launching its next campaign in January 2022 in East Leeds.
The aim of this campaign is to support 60 people into employment opportunities and 70 people into education, training and ongoing support. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do and to ensure we’re reaching diverse communities, we invite our Third Sector colleagues to support the campaign by sharing our posters and event information in January.
