Dementia Action Week is an annual awareness raising campaign run by the Alzheimer’s Society to encourage people to act on dementia.

This year, the focus is on dementia diagnosis and calling on the Government and the NHS to prioritise dementia in policy and decision making.

Dementia Friendly Leeds will be hosting an event at Pudsey Civic Hall on Wednesday, 4 of June, from 11 am to 2.30 pm, including a marketplace of stalls. Stalls and stands should represent the diverse and inspirational dementia friendly communities, organisations and businesses of Leeds to showcase what they offer.

Priority for stalls will be given to Age and Dementia Friendly businesses. You can find out more about becoming one on the Leeds Older People’s Forum website: Become an Age and Dementia Friendly Business

If you would like to register interest for a stall, please fill out the form below. Or, if you would like to get involved in other ways, perhaps by hosting a performance or talk at the event, or could help with sponsorship, then please contact [email protected]
