Training
Tues 23rd & Thurs 25th June | 10am–12pm
This training is designed for anyone who wants to support men’s health in their community, workplace or organisation. You don’t need to be a health professional. Men’s Health Champions are people who listen, support and help others take positive steps towards better health.
Delivered over two interactive sessions, the course covers the basics of men’s health, how to have effective conversations, and how to signpost people to the right support. It’s practical, engaging and focused on real-life situations.
This approach has been shown to make a difference, particularly in reaching men who may not engage with traditional services.
You’ll learn:
- The basics of men’s health
- The role of a Men’s Health Champion
- How to support behaviour change
- Communication and listening skills
- How to signpost to further support
Suitable for VCSE organisations, employers, local authorities, NHS partners, and individuals looking to build confidence in supporting men’s wellbeing.
