Positive Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers (PAFRAS) is celebrating 20 years of supporting people seeking asylum in Leeds, and everyone connected to the organisation is warmly invited to take part.

For two decades, PAFRAS has provided practical support, advocacy and a welcoming space for people seeking sanctuary. This event is an opportunity to come together, reflect on what has been achieved, and celebrate the community that has grown around the organisation.

About the celebration

The evening will include speeches, food and entertainment, bringing together donors, supporters, current and former clients, volunteers, staff members and trustees. Whether you have been involved recently or at any point over the past 20 years, you are welcome to attend.

PAFRAS has asked that attendees note:

  • there will be no alcohol at the event

  • all food served will be halal
