Many people require extra help so they can feel comfortable attending their breast screening appointment – like more time, clear information or a quiet space – but perhaps don’t realise that it’s OK to ask. This includes people with learning difficulties, mental health conditions, or who speak English as an additional language.
The West Yorkshire and Harrogate Cancer Alliance want to understand more about this, so if you are 50 to 70 years old, or if you support someone who is, we would love to hear from you.
Tell us what support would help you. Your ideas will make a difference and help to
encourage others to attend.
● We will visit your group for 45 minutes.
● Participant will receive a gift voucher
● You can share your ideas on how to help others
● We will bring refreshments.
To take part online, please click here or to take part in a face to face sessions, please attend a session below Feel free to share this with anyone you think might be interested.
