Leeds Older People’s Forum are hosting an event as part of #GetOnlineWeek: Digital inclusion for older people on Tuesday 17 October.

To Celebrate Get Online week 2023, Leeds Older People’s Forum in partnership with 100% Digital Leeds and Virgin Money, invite you to this event which will share good practice, learning and resources to support older people with digital inclusion. The Older People’s Digital Inclusion Network launched in December 2020, a partnership between 100% Digital Leeds and Leeds Older People’s Forum, which brings organisations across the city together, who support older people with digital.

This event will be an opportunity to meet with organisations who are part of the network. There will be a number of speakers sharing insights on a range of themes such as transport apps, online safety, digital health, recruiting and supporting volunteers and ways to access funding to develop a digital inclusion offer within your organisation. There will also be a marketplace area with various organisations sharing information and resources and free refreshments provided throughout the event.

This event is for organisations supporting and working with older people across the health and care sector. The event will provide a valuable platform for people to connect, collaborate, and share best practice. It will be a great opportunity to network and meet other organisations, and to share information and resources that would benefit older people.
