The Another Way Women’s Foundation (AWWF) is now open for funding applications, with the current round running from 1–31 January 2026.

Funding is available to support projects and services that empower, educate and advance women and girls.

Funding Rounds

From 2026, AWWF will run two funding rounds each year:

  • January – open funding for projects supporting women and girls across any area

 


Available Grants

Another Way Women’s Foundation Grant
Grants of up to £5,000 for projects, services or initiatives that support women and girls.

£1000 for 1000 Words Grant
Smaller grants offering £1,000 in return for a 1,000-word application explaining the project and its impact.

What Funding Can Be Used For

Funding can support:

  • New or pilot projects

  • Existing services that support women and girls

  • Early-stage or seed funding to help ideas develop

Applicants should explain how funding will be used, what difference it will make, and how the impact will be measured.


Who Can Apply

Applications must:

  • Align with the Foundation’s aim of supporting women and girls

  • Be based in the UK

  • Be delivered by a not-for-profit organisation or an individual working for community benefit

  • Demonstrate positive and sustainable impact


Application Process

Applications must be submitted using the relevant online application form.

Applicants will receive an email acknowledging receipt.
Some applications may be invited to a follow-up discussion.

Funding decisions are usually shared within 4–6 weeks of the closing date.
Successful grants are typically paid within 2–3 weeks.


Reporting Requirements

Successful applicants will be asked to provide:

  • A short report on how the funding was used

  • Evidence of impact

  • A photo and short testimonial for use on the AWWF website and social media
