Armley Helping Hands has been presented with Directorate nomination for Adults and Health Award of Excellence 2023 for partner of the year.

The Board of Trustees, Staff and Volunteers had the opportunity to attend the ceremony at Leeds Civic Hall.

Armley Helping Hands CEO Dawn Newsome had this to say:

“Words can’t express how proud I am to lead such a remarkable team and the collaboration with our community partners in Adult & Health, Medical practice, Local care partnership, Public Health, Leeds Community Health Care Trust and our Third Sector Partner.

We have had a few hurdles this year and many challenges ahead but each and everyone of you have stepped forward to ensure we continue to achieve the charity goals and objectives.

This recognition is to every one of you, as together we achieve the best outcomes in improving the lives of our older people and community.

Thank you so much, for your resilience and commitment to ensure our older people have the best possible support, intervention, promote Independence  and most importantly bring joy and happiness to older people.”
