The Department for Education is running a consultation to get views on the content of a non-statutory guidance for schools and colleges to help them make decisions in relation to gender-questioning children.
Aim of the consultation
They want to know whether the guidance will help to support schools and colleges, teachers and leaders to make considered and lawful decisions in relation to children who are questioning their gender and the wider school
and college community.
The consultation will close on Monday 12 March.
Who can respond?
The Department for Education would like responses from organisations, for example, charities, schools/colleges, think tanks and individuals.
