At Forum Central, we’re proud to be the collective voice of the health and care third sector in Leeds.

One of the ways we do this is through our specialist networks – spaces where organisations, partners, and people with lived experience come together to share knowledge, influence decisions, and build stronger connections.

Each network has its own meetings and regular bulletins, covering everything from updates on local services to opportunities to shape policy. They’re open, welcoming, and designed to make sure your voice is heard.

How to get involved

You can dip into any network at a time that works for you – whether that’s coming along to a meeting, signing up to a bulletin, or just staying in the loop until something catches your eye.

Our networks include:

  • Mental Health – updates, events, and opportunities to influence mental health services in Leeds.
  • Learning Disability – focused on inclusion, safeguarding, and co-production with people with lived experience.
  • Older People – bringing together organisations supporting older communities across the city.
  • Physical & Sensory Impairment – a space for sharing insight and influencing services for people with lived experience.
  • Men’s Health Unlocked – tackling men’s health inequalities with a joined-up approach.
  • Sexual Health – connecting services and sharing sector updates.
  • Workforce/HR – focusing on staff wellbeing, recruitment and retention across the VCSE sector.

Staff facilitating the specialist networks feed knowledge and relationships cultivated through the networks into our broader work within citywide health and care structures, including the Local Care Partnerships.
