The people of Leeds now have even better access to accurate and trusted sexual and reproductive health support thanks to the launch of a brand-new Digital Hub.

Designed to expand the online offer and direct people quickly and easily to the right service the new, interactive website: Leeds Sexual Health includes online booking, live web chats with a healthcare professional and online prescription ordering.

Pages feature information on the full range of sexual health topics including Emergency Contraception, Pregnancy Testing, STI Testing and Treatment, HIV Testing, PEP and PrEP (HIV prevention and treatment) and includes additional content aimed at young people.

Amanda Hammond, Operation Head of Leeds Sexual Health Service, said: “The new Digital Hub is an important step forward in making sexual healthcare responsive to the needs of the community. Our online services make it easier than ever to access the right support when and where it’s needed.”

Commissioned by Leeds City Council, the Digital Hub is the latest offering from a partnership between, Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Leeds GP Confederation and Forum Central (the collective voice for the health and care third sector in Leeds), which began in January 2024 to deliver sexual health services across Leeds both online and in person.

Councillor Fiona Venner, Executive Member for Equality, Health and Wellbeing,
commented: “For those that prefer the discretion and convenience of online services, the new
digital hub offers the choice to self-manage sexual health, without always needing to attend a clinic in person. It is exciting to see the service using innovative methods to increase access”.

The main Leeds Sexual Health hub for in person appointments is Beeston Hill Health Centre, with additional access points at Armley Moor Health Centre, Chapeltown Health Centre, Seacroft Clinic and Gateway West.

For those without digital access a telephone contact centre is also open Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 16:30 pm on 0113 843 4495.

Bookable appointments are available across the city until 8pm and a limited number
of appointments available on weekends.
