Battle Scars is looking for partner Third Sector organisations to come into Battle Scars new premises. Consideration will be given to those who work in mental health/wellbeing with children and/or adults. Prospective organisations must be survivor-led/run or have a very strong element of lived experience of mental health.
Battle Scars will give priority to smaller organisations and those that encourage volunteering. Battle Scars is open to ideas including organisations from out of the Leeds area who are wishing to establish a Leeds footprint.
A major consideration for organisations considering moving into the Battle Scars premises is: low rent with many other benefits. Hire rooms will also be available.
Consultation events will be held face-to-face and virtually in September 2023, and estimated entry into Onward Mental Health Hub is expect early in 2024.
