Forum Central are working with University of Leeds researchers to promote a project on developing a musculoskeletal (MSK) digital health intervention. The aim of the project is to develop a digital app or website for people with MSK conditions (such as osteoarthritis, tendonitis, tennis elbow, chronic joint pain) that will help them to manage their symptoms better.
Firstly we need to talk to people with MSK conditions to understand what helps and what hinders engagement with digital health interventions.
We are running a series of community focus groups between June and October 2022.
We want to involve people from different backgrounds in our research. This will help us design a digital health intervention that is useful and accessible. We particularly want to involve people from under-served communities such as those with:
- digital, educational or socio-economic disadvantage
- physical or mental disability or sensory impairment
- multiple long-term health conditions
Or who are:
- from an ethnic minority background
- an older age adult
- a non-native English speaker
We need your help to recruit the right people to our focus groups!
