The way Linking Leeds accepts referrals is changing to ensure that they are providing the best possible service to everyone that they support. This is in order to co-produce solutions and identify opportunities to implement what is important to them.
Recent reports have identified that 35% of referrals Linking Leeds receive are for people who are not in a position to engage with the support available.
Changes to Referrals
Linking Leeds remains a city-wide service and pathways into the service are still open, but professional referrals will now only be accepted by GPs or primary care staff, unless otherwise agreed with the provider and commissioning body. Self referrals, carer referrals and non-professional third party referrals will also be accepted.
If you are working with an individual who would benefit from their support, please encourage them to self refer.
