The team at People Matters have been very busy working on a shared resource which aims to increase awareness of cervical cancer and HPV (Human papillomavirus which causes most cervical cancer).
There are lots of short videos about spotting symptoms and explaining what things mean.
The resource collates information and is organised into sections by colour:
- Red – Cervical Cancer
- Blue – HPV
- Green – Healthy Lifestyles
- Purple – Reasonable Adjustments
- Orange – Other Resources and Websites
- White – Member Stories

People Matters creates opportunities for people with learning disabilities and other hidden disabilities who experience disadvantage to be more independent and enjoy life in the same ways as anybody else.
The project was commissioned by Leeds City Council which was funded by the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Cancer Alliance health inequalities project.
