Leeds City Council have developed a free Safeguarding Adults training course for volunteers across Leeds.

This training gives an overview of Safeguarding Adults specifically aimed at volunteers in Leeds. It covers:

  • What safeguarding adults is and why this is important
  • The role and responsibility of the volunteer in safeguarding adults
  • Different types of abuse, and what signs to potentially look out for
  • How to raise a concern and what happens next
