Leeds City Council have developed a free Safeguarding Adults training course for volunteers across Leeds.
This training gives an overview of Safeguarding Adults specifically aimed at volunteers in Leeds. It covers:
- What safeguarding adults is and why this is important
- The role and responsibility of the volunteer in safeguarding adults
- Different types of abuse, and what signs to potentially look out for
- How to raise a concern and what happens next
