We manage grant programmes on behalf of funders and partners, supporting Third Sector organisations across Leeds to deliver vital community work. Each programme has its own eligibility criteria, application process, and deadlines.

Over the years, we’ve been proud to manage grant programmes that have supported hundreds of organisations and reached thousands of people across Leeds. From small community projects to city-wide initiatives, these grants have helped build stronger, healthier, more connected communities.

Previously funded programmes include:

Transforming Mental Health Grants
Part of Leeds’ community mental health transformation, delivered with Leeds Community Foundation and the NHS Integrated Care Board. Since 2023, 25 community organisations have been funded to support people with complex mental health needs — reaching more than 500 people, with learning shared in our Gold Dust Report.

Harnessing the Power of Communities Small Grants
Delivered with Leeds Community Foundation, the West Yorkshire ICB and the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership, this programme awarded 31 small grants to community organisations, reaching over 7,000 people and strengthening health-focused community activity in the most disadvantaged parts of the city.

Community Vaccination Champions
Small grants enabling trusted community voices to share accurate health information and build vaccine confidence in the communities most affected by health inequalities — from COVID-19 vaccination through to childhood immunisations. Delivered with Leeds Public Health and Voluntary Action Leeds, with learning captured through an independent evaluation with Leeds Beckett University.

Household Support Fund
Helped local organisations provide emergency support to residents facing financial hardship during the cost-of-living crisis. Grants reached [X] organisations, supporting [X] people with food, fuel, and essential household items.

Hey Neighbour
Funded community-led projects that brought people together and reduced social isolation. [X] projects funded, creating lasting connections in neighbourhoods across Leeds.
